Mighty Minds has been providing private and group tuition since 1989 and has developed an excellent reputation for improving students' learning abilities. This has been directly reflected in higher grades being achieved. Mighty Minds has worked with schools throughout Queensland for many years. We provide training for teachers and students on effective learning strategies, with particular emphasis on Literacy, Numeracy and Visual Literacy skills. These workshops are very popular and have involved schools across the state. A consequence of this is improved student achievement in the QCS (Queensland Core Skills) test. This series of tests is undertaken by all Year 12 students in Queensland each year. Part of this programme is the completion of Practice Tests, which includes marking, data analysis and recommended strategies for improvement. This year alone we marked over 100 000 practice tests for Queensland schools. We also distil the knowledge and experience gained from dealing with large numbers of students and schools. Student workbooks ("Smart Solutions for Problem Solving", "Pathways to Success", etc.) concentrate this wisdom into a printed form that is enjoyable and enlightening for students. There is more.
